Lets look at some outfits the celebs were wearing at the Emmy’s.

3. Brooke Shields, I think she looks stunning, she is one of my favourites can’t help it. The only thing I don’t like is that little brooch type thing on her waist. To all the dutch readers, Lipstick Jungle is starting tonight on RTL 8, I have watched the whole season already and loved it…

Anyway, my two cents:

Make sure your accessory’s are good, great shoes can make or break an outfit that might be entirely sourced at H&M.

Get a good, leather, handbag all sizes go this season, my personal favourites are still large totes, normal and oversized cluthes.

Clutches are also great because in comparison they are a little cheaper so go for a more expansive designer if you can. Coach are doing some great cluthes or wristlets. If you can get away from carrying a large handbag you will look very cute with these smaller alternatives. I sometimes carry a simple nylon type tote (Gap) with a more expensive clutch.

Get a pair of great looking zirconia studs for your ears, depending on the rest of your look, people will be guessing, are the real or are they not? well they are never getting close enough to really know now will they?

Make sure you have at least one pair of good looking dark jeans, they will upgrade any casual outfit. I recently got a great pair at H&M very reasonable price.

A jacket can bring together an entire look, if you browse the highstreet stores you can find some great jackets that look like the real deal but might just be Zara or H&M. On my shopping trip to London next week I am going to a vintage store that has some original Chanel tweeds, I am looking forward to that.

Another of my personal favourites to look good in budget times? make sure your hair looks great, don’t be afraid to use a hair dryer ladies, make your hair look salon good and you’ll feel great, guaranteed. Need some advice on blow drying, let me know….

Fashiontweet and friends were enjoying the great weather yesterday as were a lot of other people. We noticed many joggers, walkers and cyclists…

Which brings me to the next topic: men in bycicle shorts…

 mmmm, yes well, I am with the club that does not find this a very attractive look for men. Every year there is this big brouhaha about the Tour de France and frankly it kind of freaks me out. These skinny men in their skinny outfits on their skinny bikes. I suppose I can appreciate the fact that these people are uber humanly fit, and they are so driven to do this, but really I don’t get it. It looks painful, harsh, and unsanitary (they pee in their pants).

I used to have this major crush on Boris Becker when I was about 15, he wasn’t the most attractive man on the tennis circuit but he did it for me. Goran Ivanišević was another favourite…mmmm. I will have to start watching tennis again as I am not in touch with the current super stars… I look forward to it.

Whilst looking outside today, at this amazingly sunny weather it is hard to believe that just yesterday it was pooring down with rain.

The lady on the far left was wearing a see through all over type thing, then the people in red were wearing some nasty looking, Amsterdam themed things. The lady in yellow I liked the best, as she resembles someone on ‘The perfect storm’. The kid in the dark blue onesee looked adorable.

These people are mostly tourists I presume, which leads me to think that we are all able to make some fashion faux pas when we travel. I know that when I am staying with family in southern California I am not really paying as much attention to what I am wearing when I am here in Amsterdam. Do you all think its easier to not care when you are travelling? depending on where you’re travelling to of course…..

I watched the new 90210 this weekend and realised something really bad…. my current hair cut is the same as Jennie Garth’s hair on the new 90210. OMG, I used to have Shannen Doherty’s hair as I shared with you last week… now I have Jennie Garth’s hair? no no no, that is not good.
