Most of you have heard of the fabulous make up artist Laura Mercier, she has worked her wonder on many a famous face. Luckily I was able to meet with her a little while ago in the Skins Cosmetics store in Amsterdam. Wow, what an amazing lady, she looks gorgeous but in a very natural way, it doesnt look like she has had any ‘work’ done. Her make up was flawless of course… what would we expect of a woman who has created an entire brand centered around her vision of a flawless face.
The products are all centered around the company’s SkinNova SC Technology which combines two different elements: a regenerative skin medicine first used on burn patients, called SkinNova, and a peptide that Juvena said activates the skin’s own stem cells, creating “fresh new skin”, with visible results in 28 to 60 days, according to WWD.

Skins Cosmetics opened its now store a little while ago and with it Skins Institute. Skins Institute offers a unique array of treatments, one of which I was lucky to undergo last Monday.
The official term is a hair and scalp analysis and treatment, but I will refer to this little moment of bliss as a hair facial. Paulina Moes explained in detail which products she was using and the philosophy behind this product line.
Leonor Greyl, a French company based in Paris has been a pioneer in hair care for 35 years. A personal treatment will be created for you to ensure a healthy scalp and great looking hair. Paulina Moes, a well known hairstylist has received special training to use these products and manage the treatments.
