Artemis Styling Academy:

Fashiontweet created a unique and creative PR event for FashionDesign Camp with ByEve PR.

FashionDesign Camp a course organised by Artemis Styling Academy and Eartha Vyant held a sneak preview today of what is to come this summer in the lovely College Hotel in Amsterdam.

FashionDesign Camp is part of the Summer Academy and offers young people, ages between 14 and 18, the change to discover and enhance their creativity.

Fashiontweet had been thinking about a new and refreshing way to present fashion and fashionrelated products and services. I came up with the idea of a ‘tableau vivant’, a life painting. Models and products are carefully staged in a certain setting, busying themselves with an activity, such as reading, putting on lipstick or fixing their hair.

After sharing this idea with Evelyn van Hasselt she immediately connected the dots and suggested this would be perfect for the sneak preview of the FashionDesign Academy. We contacted Artemis’ PR manager and she was very enthousiastic as well. Today was the culmination of meetings, brainstorm session and careful planning by a team of great people.

This way of presenting is so unique that the journalists’ present today were surprised and entertained. The young designers that attented the FashionDesign Camp last year were available today and chatted happily with the press, explaining their work and plans for the future. 

All in all it was an extremely succesful event and I will update this post with photographs as soon as I receive them.
